Explosive acceleration pushes you in 4 seconds flat to 100km/h as the AMG 4.0-litre V8 twin-turbo engine kicks at 350 kW and 650 Nm. Newly shortened reaction time on the AMG sports transmission allows the driver's shift commands to be executed at an unprecedented speed. Meanwhile, a new "sailing function" is employed to optimise efficiency, independently falling into neutral in “Comfort” mode - for example on long descents - to save fuel.
